Although best known as a behind the scenes operator, Allen Toussaint has also released a handful of solo albums over the years. This quintessential collection contains Toussaint's seminal recordings, featuring a variety of the great R&B sides he made for different labels such as RCA, Minit and Seville. This is the material upon which Toussaint's reputation was built.
