Philippe Rault, the producer of Maison de Blues Series captured something in Gatemouth's style that would bring him the commercial success that had long been his due. In this album you will find a blend of country, Cajun, rock and jazz influences which come together cohesively to provide a new and exciting direction. There is nothing pretentious here. Everything is authentic and most of the songs were penned by Bogalusa writers. This album is the result of many exciting elements coming together, and I think it will leave you begging for more.
