A very popular figure on Philadelphia's live music scene, vocalist Pamela Renee Smith is a facilitator of the highest order. Whether arranging high profile concerts or putting together fund drives for needy children, Pamela Renee is a blessing to her community. An extremely talented vocalist, Smith is at turns sweet and sassy, with a warm and inviting tone that is hard to resist. Working with legendary Philly soul producer Butch Ingram, Pamela Renee is the latest artist welcomed into the Society Hill fold. Here she takes on Jeannie and Jimmy Cheatham's bluesy 1985 hit, "Meet Me With Your Black Drawers On" with expert backing from the Ingram Brothers band along with backing vocals from Sharon Ingram and Nikita Harmon. Laid back and funky, the new single will undoubtably expose Pamela Renee's special talents to a wider audience. Here's hoping for more from this gifted vocalist.
