Double vinyl LP pressing of this 2006 release, the third full length from Zombie Nation. From the deep flow of a breathtaking "Booster," to the live feeling and roughness of the title track, to the cruising, head banging track "Slow," this album is far from being just another bunch of club tunes compiled on a CD. Black Toys means crossover electronic music. A style orgy carefully spiced with dirt and grind. This album will appeal to fans of Daft Punk, Justice, AC/DC, Slayer and Donna Summer. It's the soundtrack for aficionados of a crispy groove. In the Zombie studio, all sounds are made from scratch: sometimes it is a new toy keyboard found at the flea market, another time it is a drummer on acid whose beats are sampled. A squeaking door becomes a percussive element, synthesizers are re-recorded through guitar amps and remixed through '70s German broadcast gear. This is truly dirty street techno made in Munich. UKW.
